freestyle contests in the Bay?

does anyone know of any open mic spots, or battlerap events, freestyle competitions, mic fights at a local party, lyricist lounge, or anything of that nature located in the Bay Area? something i can have some fun with emceeing, try and get my name out here?

errr... there was an event last saturday in san jose... i don't remember what it was called and whether or not it was a weekly thing though. i'll try and find some more info on it.

that was the promotion company that sponsored it. it's mainly a hip hop dance competition, but there was an mc battle afterward. not a weekly though. i'll look for some more info.

alright, thanks for that, but that was kind of last minute. couldn't make it, unfortunately, but this is a regular thing, right.
i was at a freestyle session at a club called City Nights a couple weekends ago. good stuff, yes.

that looks fairly high-profile, i'm going to check out the sat. one. i emailed them my info. i'm not sure how they determine if i'm in or not, though.

i'll probably go to the one in berkeley, but not the one in san jose. no, i don't rhyme. i would look ridiculous! i have no creativity whatsoever. :D
