Do You Take Your Girlfriend for Granted?

Do you take your girlfriend for granted as time goes on when you're dating/living together or in some cases do you take your wife for granted?

I mean isn't it the natural order of things? As the relationship progresses you start becoming more and more comfortable with each other aka "The Comfort Zone."

I mean what exactly does your significant other mean when she yells out you: "You're taking me for granted."

Kekeke mine said that to me last night out of the blue and I just had this puzzled look on my face like arrrrooooooooo? Being the wise ass I retorted: "How about you grant me a beer!" Got the silent treatment....but I can't front it was nice...all peaceful and quiet.

It just seems when everything is going well, women have this uncanny ability to see something wrong with the relationship and complain! And it also seems like they wanna complain for the sake of complaining - that and fish for compliments, but that's a whole new different topic.

i think it's inevitable that you take your girlfriend/boyfriend even a friend for granted sometimes.
i've never felt that i was being taken for granted by my previous boyfriends but i do notice when *i* do that.
and if i can't shake off that feeling, or do something to counteract it, i feel like it's downhill from there.

Do I take my wife for granted?

Sometimes I think I'm slipping, but I make a conscious effort not to. I know for a fact that my life is better since she's been in it. I also remember dating hell, and don't want to go back to that any time soon.
