Awesome...by the way...my forum's sports subforum could use more sports fans. Think you could drop by ( and of course, continue posting here ::nervous laughs:: )?

Okay enough with that cheesy advertisement ( one more time, www.shinraonline.com ), think the Rockets will do well this year? Playoff material? Favorite Rocket? Go to the games? Etc?

I love the Rockets... they've been my team ever since I first saw Hakeem play in 1989. I was only 7 years old, and had never seen a player like him before.

Hahaha. Same here, except I was around 14.

I really hope they keep the team that they have. I was pretty upset when they traded Thomas, because for awhile, the team was entirely built out of our own picks ( except Rice, Taylor, and Cato ), but understandably they couldn't continue with the log jam they had at the 4 and Thomas would probably have signed of somewhere else next year.

Really excited for Posey. It was a good trade IMO.

Any of you boys go to the games?

I think they'll do ok, but I'm not so sure they'll win playoffs, but as long as the Lakers lose this year, I'm all good. :D

Off Topic... but what if the Lakers fail to make the playoffs, and win the #1 pick? Lebron James... conspiricy?

The Rockets are way too inconsistent this year... hopefully they can build better chemistry. On paper, the Rockets are a good team... on the court, they are on and off. I think the Posey trade was good just because he's young, and we had a logjam at the 4. I think bringing in Posey is admitting that Nachbar won't be the future at the 3... because they've already said they wanted to lock Posey in long term.

Well, it's unrealistic to say the Rockets will be in the Finals, but for them to make the playoffs even as an eighth seed would be great for morale...most of the players have never been to the playoffs before, and except one ( Rice ), none of them have played more then one playoff round. Championships are built through failure, and if they can go to the playoffs and get a taste of what it's all about it'll be a gain for them.

The Posey trade was a great trade.

If the Lakers get James, it's an obvious conspiracy. Flat out. No way in hell would that happen with random lottery balls.

You'll be surprised how many people have said the same thing. I almost stopped watching the NBA when the Lakers " won " Game 6 in last year's Western Conference Finals.

Seein that I'm reppin H-Town, Houston Rockets all the way! One word to describe them though: inconsistent. I mean, they're losing to teams they're supposed to beat, and beating teams they're supposed to lose to! :o
