View Full Version : Living alone? What's in YOUR fridge?
If you're living alone or with your s.o., most of the time it's a bother (in my opinion) to cook for only two people. In such a case, what do you keep in the fridge?
Here's my payload:
2 750ml bottles of Kurosawa Premium Sake
Christmas Leftovers from the parents house
9 12oz. cans of Bud Light
4 Large bottles of Asahi Super Dry
1 Bottle of Sriracha hot sauce
1 jar of Yank Sing Chili Pepper Sauce
1 jar of Yank Sing X.O. Sauce
2 eggs
Orange Juice
Calpico Water
Half full bottle of 750ml Absolut Mandrin

i have almost everything... i try to eat well.
although i will reward myself and eat junk like chips, candy and cupcakes at least every other day.
i don't think i can get fat cuz of my fast metabolism and i don't like to eat too much in one sitting. My one fear though is to get a pot belly. I think it's worth goinng to the gym just to prevent that.

I live alone.
In my fridge: pate, snow peas, garlic in jar and garlic not in a jar, green onions, grass jelly, lychee, bbq sauce, mayo, this apple jelly bought directly from a farm, left over chinese food, orange & strawberry juice, white chicken breasts, fresh basil, Chloreseptic, Udon noodles, philadelphia cream cheese whipped spread, mushrooms, red potatoes, cranberry sauce, baby spinach, chinese cabbage used to make soup, and asparagus. yummy!

I have a lot of film in my fridge.
I put batteries in the fridge.
My fridge has a ton of leftovers. Milk, eggs, eggo waffles, a ton of condiments (mayo, bbq sauce, soy sauce etc.) We have a lot of jars that contain stuff that I'm not sure what they are anymore, some of them have walked off on their own. Frozen pork buns, frozen shumai, butter, beer, hootch orange (the last girl I dated like them) some white wine, some vinegar.
In my pantry, I have canned sardines in tomato sauce, cereal, ramen noodles, chef boy ordee, herseys chocolate syrup, Milo (it was cheaper then olvaltine) instant coffee, creatine, rice, shrimp paste and chocolate.

creamy stuff like foundation lasts longer if you store it in the fridge or buy excess and need a place to put it.
Gah!! You all horrify me. I'm insane about fridge organization. Everything is in ziplock bags or tupperware containers and labeled with: who made it/where it was bought or ordered, the day it was made/bought/ordered, what it is, and an expiration date. I make my roomies throw out old food and wash the dishes as soon as they use them. I'm an OCD kitchen nazi.
Some day my roommates will thank me instead of hiding old food under my bed to scare me. Biznatches.
The wretched smell of old food. :gross: :gross: :gross:

Hot Pockets! Stacks and stacks of Hot Pockets. You know, those that come in boxes of two. And then Ben and Jerry's or mint Milano cookies for dessert.

It's not all I have but those are my staples. Oh yea that's right hehe I don't keep Milanos in the fridge usually. Just forgot about the specifics of the original question. Sometimes I put candy bars in the fridge so they take longer to eat cause face it most of them just go down way to faaaaast
