I like to party nearby before I go to college and party there.

Why not just hop on the NJ Transit and go to NYC?
From what I've heard, and the little that I've seen you're probably not going to find great clubs in NJ. But I could be wrong.
The big ones in that area I've heard about are the Abyss in Sayreville, and Hunka Bunka
Check these sites for listings:

Listen to KTU (103.5 FM), as events are often advertised there
There's also more options at the shore during the summer.
I avoid NJ clubs. Every time I go to one, for some inexplicable reason, a fight breaks out and all the light skinned people start fighting the brown people who fight the even darker people and the night is over. I'm in NE NJ so I don't know it's any better down there. Depending on where you are, consider a train ride to Philly or NYC.

Sorry for going a little off the topic...
If you're 18 (or over) and can make it to NYC, check out Roxy or Exit on Fridays, Arc on Fridays or Saturdays
If you're under 18, well, you'll have to wait for one of those "no ID" parties, which are usually on the Sunday before a holiday
If you like trance or house, this weekend is a good weekend - should get you warmed up (or worn out) for New Years Eve
Friday: Ferry Corsten @ Roxy
Danny Tenaglia playing from midnight to noon @ Arc (also, if you're around for Presidents Day in Feb... can you party til 5 in the afternoon? he can and probably will, if his last Prez Day in NYC is any indication)
Saturday: Marco V @ Arc
And to digress more, I must admit that LA has an edge on New Years Eve/Day in having the DJ's I'd like to see
