the koreans lining up to fight the mexican gangsters, because a half mexican/japanese girl got sexually harassed by a white guy. we saw 50 koreans and 60-70 mexicans line up ready to rumble and us taiwanese guys sat sumwhere in middle, in chinese we were saying and thinking Go TEAM....and wow this should be interesting.

chinese gangs everyone claiming and saying they were in a gang, and assuming i was in one too cuz i was quiet and was chinese/taiwanese...shit i was OMG....One Man Gang!

other one was wat happens when u mix a CRX w/ NOS at track??? 75 shot stock D16....experements....BOOM! d16 becomes d15 replacement then my friends gets hit by an SUV

oh and prom, and being stood 2weeks b4 up by this korean girl i really cared bout and like...cuz she found a rich guy w/ a 300zx and all i had was my 240...then meeting him 2 yrs later hearing he used her and deflowered her and left her

ah my happy camper arent i HS

i live in arizona, go to dobson high in mesa :) i guess people would label me as "Bright" or something because i'm in honors classes but i'm usually the lowest grade in there, i really dont enjoy honors classes because the people in there generally think there higher up....i enjoy being in the average classes like in english, i'm taking the normal route, its really cool and the people in the classes are really down to earth, though you dont see as many asian people, its still a fun experience. <p> i'm kinda wanting high school to end also but then it'll be college time, and then you'll wish your back in high school (From what i hear) everything will change, friends will change...oh well :P

My fondest memories from high school:

Shaving my head in the 11th grade. Still miss the freedom of not having hair. Kept that hairstyle 'til interviews in the second year of lawschool.

Trying to break into my pre-calculus teacher's classroom in a failed attempt to steal the final. Since we couldn't get in, we pissed on the door.

Rallying together with the rest of our calculus class to get our incompetent teacher fired. She got canned after the first semester.

Gluing/epoxying the doors of over a dozen bungalows shut as our senior prank 'cause we wanted to avoid both a calculus quiz and a physics test.(just kidding... ) What was funny was that these other fuckers took credit for it. Losers.

Ah, high school had its moments but they were relatively few and far between. If I could do it all over again, I'd have 100x more fun.

teacher getting fired.

hmm in HS our 2nd year japanese teacher had a nervous breakdown cuz my class was full of so many smart asses she went out crying and went nuts... things we did was once a student cussed her out in japanese perfectly, ppl thru tantrums, etc., actually that qtr we went thru 3 teachers. 1st one had breakdown then decided to change our class, 2nd one got fired for showing us a pornographic japanese film and getting turned on by it and thus reported for sexual harassment, last one was white! 3rd yr we broke her at the end one student bitch slapped her and i slapped another student cuz she was calling me names for 3 yrs! she slapped me so i bitch slapped her back!

lol japanese class was funny!

[quote:ebc5adcf0b="b0ym0nkey"]..i really dont enjoy honors classes because the people in there generally think there higher up..[/quote:ebc5adcf0b]

heh heh.. yeah.. us "average" kids were always kinda mean to the "gifties".. the kids that the government had labelled "gifted" and had all these special classes and everything cause they had higher IQs than we did. Some of those kids were a bunch of snobs though. When they had the "normal" classes with us they would act like they knew everything and just be plain show-offs.

What I remember the most from high school are the Jewish holidays when the whole school would be practically be empty because everyone would take the day off, whether you were Jewish or not since half the school was Jewish. And even if you went to school, the teachers didn't teach since they didn't want to teach a class that wasn't even a 1/4 full.

and.. I remember all the fire alarms we had.. (which happened about once a week).. till the fire department didn't even care anymore.. then they put in security cameras everywhere.

high school was tight.

- dodging the bald heads
- stepping to the bald heads
- ditching.
- making fun of the asians.
- learning that people with the last name LEE were actually korean, and not
chinese.
- having chunts speaking spanish to me cuz they thought i was one of them
- learning that koreans cheated in my school like a mo fo and played it off like they were smart. (most of em did the whole bible bashing thing, but later i found out all of em got fucked by all the other church korean guys.) go figure!
- STREET FIGHTER II/Championship/Turbo/Hyper edition
- scaring the shit out of some white guy cuz he said to his friend "yah, let's drop those bombs on Hanoi"
- punking some other white guy cuz he sat in my seat (that one got me kicked out of AP government, i don't think the middle finger to the teacher helped either).
- learned to stay away from Tangueray

and some other fun stuff.

What're you guys talking about?! Undergrad and even grad school can be as relatively care free as high school.

The great thing about higher education is that it's for the most part optional. You wake up in time for class but decide your time would be better spent catching more sleep? No problem! No having to forge your parents signatures on sick notes. You can simply borrow notes from your friends. And the best part? The govt. ain't going to pull their loans 'cause you played hooky. Ahhhhhhh...the life of a student! (Of course, this may explain why I've got this relatively crummy job now that I've graduated...=P)

The working world on the other hand? Depending on your chosen profession, you can most likely kiss your freedom goodbye.=/

Yes, the grass is always greener...

yah cherish ur time as u progress from one life situation to another. Highskoo is fun its a time of growing up and self discovery and those expensive dances. my thoughts are dont just pick one person and fall for them, understanding what love is at that age is impossible esp for guys..., dont join a gang or be sumkinda hardass just be everyones buddy and try to make good solid friendships, learn how to dance at those dorky hs dances...its easier then lookin like a dumarse on the club dancefloor later, oh yah do ur homework cuz unless u wanna hear "do u wanna super size that" or "do u wanna order fries and a coke w/ that" u should get educated, go college or join the military.

Hey, i too have an gpa of 2.6. Isn't that something? I'm not dumb (don't take my word for it, huh? I don't care!) I blame, mostly, my lazzyness. "Heh, I'd do homework in studyhall." "Nah, I'll do it at home." "Ah, screw it!" English. God I hate that class. Yet, I'm surprise I get a grade I'm happy with, for bening lazzy that is. I rarely turn anything in, like big projects and stuff. Teacher said, at finals, "Even if you ace the final you'll still get an D (63%) in this class." Here I am reading my reportcard, hmm a C? Another reason for my low gpa, I blame, in my freshmen year, Science. Hey, I can't take notes if I can't see em, damn it! F in that class.

Math and Japanese, gosh, I love those classes. I do very little work yet I get good grades in them. In Japanese they make me feel smart. Most of the people in that class don't have good grades. They just can't remeber things well. And yes, the days me and the white guy(s) next to me making racist comments to oneanother (we don't mean it really! :D ). They somewhat seem to find it amusing when a, short, Asian guy (I'm 5ft 1' btw) cussing.

Why is everybody flaming all the students with 4.5 gpa's? I personally know of at least 5 guys that got 4.5's or above. One of them is a very close friend since elementary. They study hard but its because they know how to manage their time. I think thats the key to lots of things in high school and college. Mananging time is esssential if you want to succeed. You should see my grades throughout high school. 4.0 freshman year, 3.75 sophomore, 3.1 junior (including a D in a class I will not mention) and then finally an upside with a 4.2 gpa. I could have gotten 4.4 but my freaking AP gov. teacher didn't round up her grades. LOL...i still think she's cool. She's only 24. Crazy! I think its the "D" that screwed me over. I got into every Cal state that I applied to but i didn't get into the upper echelon UC's. So I decided on a Community College and will be a freshman this fall.

There's always the community college route. There's no shame in that. Not only does it afford you an opportunity to refocus and essentially get a fresh start with an eye towards transferring to a UC, but you can save money while you're at it by foregoing the university fees for two years. My older bro nearly didn't graduate from high school but went to SMC (Santa Monica College) and got his act together. Next he transferred to UCLA where he got his B.A. then his M.A. My little bro's starting fresh at PCC (Pasadena Community College). The sky's the limit--good luck!
