Last week, in the first round of the playoffs, my opponent wiped his ass with my McNabb-less team, 100-59. In order to advance, I'd have to beat his team this Sunday by 41 points.
You guessed it baby!
I made the gutsy move of sitting Faulk and going with the rookies, Clinton Portis and William Green, and am now ahead 104 - 50. The score's even more lopsided than that, because ESPN hasn't tallied my defense's (Phildelphia) fumble return for a touchdown. The best part? My opponent's main weapon, Priest Holmes -- his only remaining player today -- has been taken out of the game with an injury.
Portis has become a fantasy monster in the past five weeks, scoring 123 points so far, 43 points today. Thank God I didn't listen to my cousin during the draft!

Gratz man. Don't despair, McNabb might be back for week 17. My gut says don't count on it though.
Atlanta Playing Detroit...Detroit put some points up against Tampa's D, so maybe they're not all bad. Atlanta might have a game there.
Buffalo at Green Bay. GB's D is bad, so mabye the Bills score TDs instead of FGs.
Don't know much bout the Browns pass D and LBs.
Giants might have both Wills (corners) back...but the Giants are so bad, maybe the Colts will run the whole time, cause they can.
You know Shanahan relishes every opportunity to beat Oakland.
KC's got no D, but maybe this means Brees throws more than Tomlinson runs. Plus you'd think T's getting tired now.
Minnesota plays tough at home.
Pittsburgh's got a lot to play for and Johnson never seems to show up in big games, especially under the lights.
I dunno man, just trying to rationalize it for ya, but this guy's line-up is stacked. Good luck.

My line-up:
QB Trent Green, KC
RB Clinton Portis, DEN
RB/WR William Green, CLE
WR Rod Smith, DEN WR
WR Marty Booker, CHI
TE Chad Lewis, PHI TE
K Sebastian Janikowski, OAK
D Philadelphia Eagles
Bench Rod Gardner, WAS WR
Bench Donovan McNabb, PHI QB
Bench Quincy Morgan, CLE WR
Bench Antonio Freeman, PHI WR
Bench Darrell Jackson, SEA WR
Bench San Diego Chargers D
Bench Garrison Hearst, SF RB
Bench Marshall Faulk, STL
Judging from what happened this time around, I definitely have to approach my next opponent with a two-week approach: it's doubtful I'll be able to beat him two straight games, so I just need to maximize my points for both contests.
The key will definitely be the Kansas City game. The last time they met, Trent Green threw for three TDs but historically, he's only had average games against them. The tempo of the game will be vital, because San Diego needs to actually get a bunch of points on the board, sans-LT, so that Trent will be forced to come out throwing. Course, the injury to Priest will also be a factor, but I doubt he'll be out for the upcoming game, since it'll be so pivotal to their playoff hopes.
I'll also be watching Marshall play tomorrow night -- like a hawk. If he's got good legs, is cutting well, and running fearlessly, than I just HAVE to start last year's MVP over Willie Green.
Philly's D also has me worried -- they've locked up the playoffs and might be playing with less incentive. Plus, they killed the Cowboys in their first meeting and because the teams usually play each other tough, I doubt the same will happen again (even though the Boys were stomped by the Giants today).
Although Harrison set the league record today for most receptions, I'm not too terrified of him. And Rice -- bah. I refuse to cower to ex-49ers. That just leaves Ricky and LT...*fingers crossed*

Philly D scored another TD for you. That's got to help.
