Here's the first look at the 2004 Nissan Maxima, set to debut at the Detroit auto show on January 5. Based on the Altima platform, the Maxima will be powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 making somewhere in the neighborhood of 260 horsepower. Unlike past Maximas, which were built in Japan, the '04 model will be built alongside the Altima at Nissan's Smyrna, TN, plant. It is scheduled to go on sale in March, with prices starting around $30,000.

The 1999 style (don't know which years that style was) appeals to me the most.

yeah i wanna go back to the days when cars looked like cars and not like something some 4 yr. old slapped together with building blocks. i hate those huge butts they're putting on cars nowadays like the new accord. damn that thing is ugly.
