Just started playing FFX (about 25th hour). Ehhhh..does it take anyone else this long? No where near the end...
But then again, never played any FF games before. Story is really addictive.

yeah you can actually "beat" it in less than 40 hrs... shorter than the other final fantasies. if you really wanna get everything though, it'll take a crapload of time. my roommie spent 197 hrs on it! :blink:

blitzball takes up WAAAY too much time. (why I skip that... dumb ass game anyway IMO)

I tried playing...don't understand.. but then never read a single tutorial. I don't know how I can play FFX and post on YW, my nights are gone.
But its really fun! Just got to Al Bhed island where they keep the summoners.

yah i passed it at 37 hrs and passed it again w/ 46 hrs reason being i got the ultimate weapons and damage break limits on the second try and the last boss gets raped by anyone in my party. everyone hits 99,999 and Tidus has more then 9,999 hp w/ my break hp limit armor.

Haha... I got up to 150 on the lightning bolt game and then my finger got itchy and twitched! Argh! I was about to throw my ps2 out the window. I eventually did it though.
If you do the lightning game at night with the lights turned out, the lightning is really bright everytime it goes off, so it makes it easy to do even if your brain is mushed.

i tried dodging lightning but igot hit by like every one...i guess fast reflexes is something idont posess...i kind of skimped on the levelling so my charactesr are all weak and really far in the game haha....*oops* but yea...this game is addicting as hell...i prolly put in about 20 hours so far... geez you guys make me wanna go play...i think i will...toodles!!!
WHAT!!! You have to dodge 200 lightning bolts? That by itself should take like an hour (or 5)!!!

I think for the lightning thing you need the accessory that will keep you from getting into fights or something like that to make it faster

chocobo race- gotta get all the balloons to lower your time down to 0.0, as well as dodging the obstacles AND beating the other chocobo.

Man, I think I skipped alot! I'm at the Prison thing now where Yuna is separated from everyone else. How much more do I have? But that's ok, think I can go back and do all the things I miss, right?
Took me 1/2 hour today to finish that Glyph maze (didn't pay attention to what its called) its where you get Balmut. Then got soo tired I fell asleep watching Simpsons. God I wish my friends' finals will be over so we can go out!

luv, you've still got a bit left, you're maybe about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way, depending if you're just trying to get through to finish the story or if you want to get the ultimate weapons or hidden aeons.

i want a real chocobo...anyone know where i can finds me one?
I'm in the CalmLands right now..Do you have to buy all that crap to catch the fiends for the training camp thingy? So expensive, but oh well, looks fun!
KittyGirl and Karizma, are you guys done with the game yet? They don't show anything, but the scene where Tidus and Yuna hug/kiss in the water when the music comes on, does that mean they had sex or something? Gosh...i'm so hooked on the game!

luv, haven't finished it QUITE yet... i'm going back to do the ultimate stuff because i was dumb and didn't do it. I started a game and got to the calm lands and completely missed a temple (don't forget it. it's a pain to come back and do. you need to get to it by chocobo)...

I did that too! and I found out that I missed the Samurai aeon dude (that needs to get paid for every move). Man! went back and retraced my steps. Gonna fight yunalesca soon! Man this is taking up all my free time but I luv it!!!!
Did you activate the Cloudy Mirror? (The chocobo race outside the temple, run around in circles.) Have to go back to the woods right before the Calm Lands to activate the mirror.

but he's a secret aeon. and we all must have secret aeons. :) how does your friend have EVERY sphere filled...? doesn't that require more lk 4 key spheres than you can regularly get?

Level four keys are pretty easy to get once you're able to walk around omega ruins freely. It's the damn level three keys that are hard to get...

In the CalmLands ride a chocobo to the right of the beginning (the little strip of land on the bottom of the map). you'll see a chocobo feather, have your chocobo jump on it -- it'll take you to secret area. Walk around (get off chocobo) to the bridge/temple in the back. When you get to the temple, there will be two chocobos (one by the right and one by the left). It'll be a maze race, just keep running in downward circles (don't need to open any boxes) when you win the first time you get the Cloudy Mirror.
Then go in the temple and fight the lady. You'll have to beat all of her aeons at least once. The first and last aeon will give you special items to get Three Sisters (or something like that).
Go back out to chocobo and ride to the beginning (the little strip again) to the forest/woods. Run around and find the family to talk to. They'll ask you to find the husband, then the kid. You'll find the kid on the "invisible" bridge (crystally thing), just keep going up to find the spot to activate the Cloudy Mirror into the Celestial Mirror (to open locked boxes).
Ok...I just realized how much I wrote...I'm a gaming freak...hehehehe.
