Inspired by snow ninja's thread on his travels to HK and Vietnam, I thought I'd share some of the best pictures from my recent trips to London.

This is the Millennium Bridge over the River Thames, with the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral near the centre of the picture. I think this is a pretty neat representation of London as a whole because it's a mix of the great history of the old and the innovation of the new.

This is the Millennium Bridge looking in the opposite direction. The big building is the Tate Modern, which is a disused 1930s power plant converted into a modern art museum.

A street market in Camden, a hip neighbourhood in North London, famous as a centre of alternative culture (think goths, punks and alternative bands).

The tattoo and goth/punk shops along the main street in Camden.

A row of colourful houses down a side street in Camden.

Like the rest of London, Camden is also a jumble of old and new.

A random street in West Central London, not far from Hyde Park.

Iconic Tower Bridge - one of London's best known tourist attractions.

London's cool new city hall, very close to Tower Bridge.
