The referee seemed to let so many fouls go unpunished, watch for the foul by the Chinese goalkeeper - it's awesome!!!

My experience was the opposite - I can't understand the commentary, but the game speaks volumes. Basically, the Chinese team was going all out to foul and kick (literally-they seemed to be trying to cause injury at times) the Japanese team around the park, and were allowed to get away with it most of the time. Maybe the referee was biased too.

I hope they play like this at the olympics. They're gonna get their ass (physically)kicked which would be quite satisfying to watch.

There's always a come-uppance. Hopefully, the referees will be better acquainted with the rules at the Olympics.

Well, if anything its like those hockey games where the score is like 6-1 or whatever and all the losing team can do is beat the crap out of the other team. I've seen some pretty crazy endings to lopsided hockey games LOL
