I'm a White guy but I'm not here to antagonize anyone here. I've dated Asian women-in fact only Asian women-and let's just say my sex life and dating life is very good. I'm interested in Asian American issues primarily because my GF is Asian and she's quite interested in social justice issues for her community and the wider pan-community in general. As I said to the new white girl with the Asian boyfriend, you can be here and be white and not too many people will care one way or another that your girlfriend is Asian, but I doubt you'll learn anything about your relationship from a group of strangers.

Thanks everyone for the welcome-even if that means i am on auto-suspicion as some poster put it. Like i said i am not here to antagonize anyone, especially the asian guys on here who i know can be really militant about Whiteboys stealing their women. I'm not sure what makes me an Asiaphile? Just because i date Asian women exclusively? No offense but i don't even rate Asian food that highly nor am i too into the culture even though i respect it. I prefer French cuisine and your standard burgers and fries over sushi, sashimi, kimchi or egg fried rice. Am i still an Asiaphile? I came here to learna nd question - i never really understood what the big deal was about WM and AF couples. I've heard of the complaints before - the AF is exoticised, negative media portrayals. There may be some truth to that but i've yet to hear AF's complain about it too much - why would they? Doesn't every woman want to be seen as "hot" and attractive? In case you didn't notice Asian women aren't the only ones who are objectified - other women are too. I just happen to be a guy that by fate has led me to have relationships with Asian women.

Sandman you are welcome to express your views. We will try our best to cut out the profanities and the use of offensive, imflammatory remarks in expressing our strong views on APIA empowerment issues to you based on your continued input in your comments you share with us in this site.

But do not expect us to exactly agree on your views on IR dating disparity issues, or other conflicting views on other APIA issues. Expect debate and disagreements if you try.

We also talk about non-specific issues about everyday living and also discuss current events happening around the world , but from an Asian perspective. So feel free to discuss , but try to understand that our POV as APIAs are drastically different from the white males' POV, as well as, the Asian apologist POV, apologists that are of support of the every day WMs and their racist agenda concerning race relations and other persons of color. Feel me ?

My advice: As Kimpossible mentioned, this is not a forum for interracial dating technical support. BUT. . . . .
