anyone watch the game yesterday? before the game started, i really wanted georgia to win b/c i favor the sec. but then, as hawaii was getting stomped, i felt bad for them. there were so many apis on the team and amongst the band and fans. at least the team could have made it a game rather than a farce. instead of being entertaining, it felt vaguely pathetic to see the entire hawaii band celebrate a meaningless 2nd half td like they had just won the game.

I used to live in hawaii and my dad went there for grad school so i was rooting for the warriors to win.
Unfortunately they could not get anything going on the offense. They are clearly an inferior team to the SEC powerhouse.

Georgia has bigger and better athletes. It was a great season for University of Hawaii. I just hope this lopsided loss doesn't hurt their recruiting.

Hawaii just got destroyed and embarassed, but its not like this was unexpected. Georgia had a legitimate argument that it should have been playing for a NC, and Hawaii hadn't played anybody good all year and barely squeaked by some really bad teams.
I'd rather have seen USC play Georgia in the Rose Bowl, but there was no way the Sugar Bowl would release Georgia cause there would have been no other team that would have filled out that bowl game.

Hawaii is considered the asian team of college football. They tend to play with pride so i root for them. Although, i'd like to see their skill players (quarterback, WRs, RBs) to be asians instead of imported from the mainland.

I wonder what the difference in the recruiting budget for football is between the two schools. Georgia probably has millions of more dollars at their disposal to recruit their players.

I don't see too many Asians on the Hawaii football team. Most of the "Asians" are Samoans and Pacific Islanders (I guess they are more of the quasi-Asian types).
Still, there's one Asian (Japanese?) football player named Ryan Keomaka who's a serious dead ringer for Jason Scott Lee.

Jason Scott Lee the actor? Noooo. They don't look anything alike. And is neck is huge, like he just swallowed Lee.
That dude looks nothing like Jason Scott Lee.
