Yea so this is my first post. i want to see if anybody feels like they have been discriminated in the past, because you look diffrent. This is probably aimed more for the hapa folks that look more latin or arab or whatever. many people think I look latin(im half White half Japanese) and this maybe hard to explain but sometimes i feel like im being discrimated agianst becasue the person(usually a white person!! thinks im latino but im not. does this make sense?? So even though i am half and half i feel what its like to be hated on by racist ignorant people thinking im a latino. You can understand what its like to be a minority in this country and get discriminated upon even though your not.has anybody felt like this before?

Sorry I did'nt get to this good question earlier. . . . .

Yes. Many Hapas' on this site have to deal with being mislabeled as Hispanic, etc. Me, I try to kindly tell them I am Afro-Asian if they are asking out of innocent curiosity or accidentaly start conversation in Spanish when all I know is English and a little shitty Mandarin Chinese. If they want to be rude about it, they better pray I do'nt drill them a new asshole on the spot and that's putting it lightly

Here's something from another blog you might find amusing:

Why the sigh professor frink? This guys concerned about something many of us Hapas', you included go through.

Anyway I hope this helps to give insight into your concerns.. Respect.
