I've been cockblocked but I've also cockblocked a friend on accident. One time I pulled up a chair and started talking to the girl that my friend was hitting on and I was naive enough to think that it was all just supposed to be one happy conversation. She didn't seem to mind, but my friend was fuming and exploded at me afterward and I was completely clueless and I just looked at him blankly and was like, "what?".

On a sidenote, friend or no friend, I sometimes really can't stand the oxymoronic hyper-macho yet insecure guy culture and rule book crap. If you can't stand going up against competition from other guys, chances are you need to step up your game anyway.
