asian hair

hot oil treatment. have any of you gotten it and does it work? i have coarse asian hair and a lot of it. i'll gotten the japanese magic straight that lasted me a year, but i am curious about hot oil treatments. typical cost? how long will it last?

this won't help u decide on oil treatment, but i thought it was interesting. asians have 30% thicker hair than africans and 50% thicker hair than euros.

they've found the gene for thick asian hair. they're on the trail for a host of other genes for physical features... eye and hair color, freckling... could be useful for tracking criminals down.

i've had it done once.
35-50 dollars.

really. it didn't feel that much different than
doing a deep conditioning in the shower.
i was annoyed.
what a waste of my time.
freakin sat there for an extra hour.
