Actually, it's not that difficult to keep on top of things like this. Particularly if a poster likes to disrespect mods in conjunction to other unsavory actions. Just because we don't employ many punitive actions on the board, it doesn't mean we lack the capability to do so.

I don't think that's true of a lot of people. Just because they're in the spotlight doesn't mean they have some kind of responsibility to today's youth. Actually, well... okay, so sometimes I think they should. Like when it comes to pop stars and movie stars and stuff like that. But athletes aren't known for what they say or do. They're known for the way they play their game. Okay, wait. That sounds like a double standard, huh? *Frustruating myself* Ok. I think yeah, that maybe they SHOULD be held to a higher responsibility... but that kinda sucks because they're just people. They're not superheroes and they didn't ask to the youth of America to idolize them. Isn't it odd that often times athletes are held to different standards than the rest of us? Athletes, I think, are more like normal people than movie stars and pop stars. That's kinda why I thought maybe they don't need to have the weight of the world on their shoulders.
