I think the goal should be definition. It's gross when the muscles are so bulky the entire body starts to look shapeless again.

By definition I don't mean a thick clunky triangle propped up by relatively skinny legs. I think you're thinking lack of body fat and how each individual muscle is defined. I'm talking about the overall silhouette here. Swimmers tend to use every muscle in the water so you get an even distribution of strength, which leads to grace in both motion and-- generally-- appearance.

Which are you?i've been reading an evolutionary psych book and thats exactly what it comes down to. good looking guys have historically had more sex partners (duh), and don't end up good fathers b/c they don't invest much in their numerous offspring. women end up cuckolding their uglier mates. scientific def of cuckolding is a woman duping a male into supporting offspring that isn't his. this of course doesn't work as well now b/c of interracial hookups and dna testing and whatnot.

the other interesting thing is that kids tend to resemble their dads more than their moms as the dad's dna tries to reassure him that the kid's dna is (or unfortunately isn't) worth supporting.

a friend once told me that if a kid looks more like the dad, the mom is happy with the dad and wants the kid to look more like him. if she hates the dad, then the kid will look like her more. pretty sure it's just talk but i've noticed this to be true in several cases. *shrugs*

its true will smith and brad pitt get good attention from women for their looks. i think its the fact that this article called it a "caveman look" that has people disagreeing. when you mention caveman, i think of slouchy hairy men with extruded eyebrow bones. IMO, i dont think they should have called it "caveman" because neither of those guys are slouchy and overly hairy. i can see how women would find it offensive to accuse them of liking those geico guys.
