Does anybody know how to make one of those toilet paper triangles, like the ones you see in a hotel? I'm trying to make one, and it just doesn't look right.

As I am part Japanese, I have a positive racial modifier towards any challenge that involves folding (see Origami).

The secret is... tuck the corners under. Plus use stiff, anal-abrading, cheap toilet paper. Your thickly quilted Ultra Charmin is too floppy.

Happy Shitting.

I've read somewhere that in Japan, you find these toilet paper triangles everywhere, not just in fancy hotels. After you finish your business, you take the leftover toilet paper and give it that toilet paper triangle for the next user.

I'm alarmed by this bathroom superiority by the Japanese with their bidets and toilet paper triangles . First, it was hot dog gluttony. And, now this. Before you know it, they'll be buying up all our landmarks.

I've tried doing that, but it doesn't come to a perfect point. One side is longer than the other.

You can have the triangle even with thick floppy quality toilet paper, if you have that toilet paper holder flap that rests on the roll.

I need pictures. Pictures.

If I can find a japanese video about how to fold a shirt, why can't I find a Japanese video on how to form this toilet paper triangle thing.

It may be high art, but I'll still wipe my ass with it. Sharp side in.

don't feel like taking pics of me folding a toilet paper triangle.

why don't you do this (http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2006/8/9/173550/4986/hotels/Hotel_Arranges_Your_Toilet_Paper_To_Your_Liking) instead? it's a lot prettier than a stupid triangle.

Not only am I an intarweb expert and have a racial bonus to any folding project, I can now demonstrate my peerless knowledge of cross-cultural shitting.

One reason no matter how long we try for a peaceful co-existence, Chinese and Japanese will never truly have a meeting of the minds. Chinese are Shameless Shitters: Japanese are Shameful Shitters.

I don't know. Those other toilet things are a bit too girly and chichi, no? I find that stuff to going a little bit overboard, where its trying too hard.

look.....i've NEVER been to a guy's place and marveled at his toilet paper triangles. if he did anything other than wipe his ass with tp, the red flags would go up.

but that's just me.
