I have lost what little respect I had for CNN. The Sichuaners have always been kinda wacky, the chilis go to their heads. Chinese bathhouses are the bomb, though.
There used to be this strange expat bar in Shanghai with dinosaur urinals, so I heard. I only went once, never saw the urinals.
My train last night had really large, and even handicap friendly (a rarity in China) loos. A train attendent and her two girl friends were camped out in it for ages gossipping. Common problem: too many people, too little privacy, the toilet is a rare moment of privacy, so women at least hang out there forever.

Ah Chongqing. Even Chengdu people speak in hushed tones about how truly crazy the Chongqing natives are. I can understand a little Chengdu dialect but I have absolutely no clue as to what the heck the Chongqing people say to me.
Yes, the Sichuan people are pretty crazy, they freaking DRINK UP the soup in the hotpot. (And that soup is blood red, I mean FREAKING BLOODY RED there's so many peppers and peppercorns in it, I remember taking out a cluster of those truly nasty Sichuan peppercorns the size of a cluster of GRAPES with my chopsticks! And these people freaking DRINK THE SOUP I mean WTF, WTF?!?!)
But yes Chinese public bathrooms are the freaking bomb. I mean, they're awesome.

Those are some wild urinals. Peeing into some porcelain animal's mouth. LOL. Just how kinky does those things get? :frown:
