sigh....these aren't good roles they are giving to asian men.
both of them have accents. tv almost only show those types.
They seems to be characters not taken too seriously.

Both ads were creepy. Which gets to the question, Why do so many companies use weird unappealing people in their ads to sell products.
To me the white males in the ads were as unattractive as the older Asian guys who can at least hide behind their "foreignness".
But what's the excuse for putting two nasty looking white spastic nerds in the ad?
Is the white spastic nerds gum chewing market that big?
I now associate that gum with unappealing people I don't want to be near. How does that sell the product?

I think their intent was humor. They simply want to tell the consumers that the gum last long, at the same time make a funny commercial. What they don't realize is that its another one of many commercials that use the stereotype accented screaming angry Asian men as humor. :mad:
