Obsessed w/ Sarah Gore's Asian Fiance

Al Gore's daughter, Sarah (28), is engaged to Bill Lee (36).

There are no pictures of the couple, but I know Bill Lee is Asian.
Why? Because every news wire & hipster news blog has to mention that he's Asian. And sometimes in a snarky way.

This kinda reminds me of the movie Clerks. There's a recurring joke that the main character's ex-girlfriend is engaged to "an Asian design major".

I'm just waiting for crappier remarks. And Ann Coulter's blog doesn't count.

The oldest and hottest one is a lawyer, who married a doctor, and has written has a couple of serious books.

The second one is the funny one. She wrote for Futurama and SNL, and has released two comedic novels that critics have lauded.

And, this youngest one is studying to be a doctor at UCSF.

The funny thing is that I just saw one of those FOX hacks imply that Al Gore wasn't a good dad because his son got caught with MJ while never acknowledging how well Gore's other children are doing with their lives.

I think Angry Asian Man's elation may be due to the perception, real or imagined, that Asian American women hookup with other races, particularly white men, more often than Asian men. Driving this perception may be people with the mindset of someone who would use words such as those that rhyme with ink, and the perceptions -- real or imagined -- about Asian men and women.

Whatever the reasons, in an ideal world, none of this would matter and this post would not exist. I debated whether to do this post, and in the back of my mind I feel a little like Angry Asian Man. Then I saw the Craig's List message, and I realized it matters to other people for very different reasons. I guess that's why I went ahead with the post.
