FORT HOOD, Texas -- A tragic ending to the search for a missing soldier at Fort Hood, Texas.
An Army spokeswoman said the body of Sgt. Lawrence G. Sprader, 25, was found late Tuesday.
Sprader disappeared last Friday during a solo exercise testing basic map reading and navigation skills.
No word yet on the cause of death. An autopsy will be performed.
Hundreds had been searching for the missing soldier.
