I don't know if this has already posted, but I think this is very interesting.
He has a Japanese accent, but yeah he is trying hard so if you live in the LA area and have any info on this you can contact and help him out.

hahhah he made a whole series of videos. i like this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CnhnnGI5uM&NR=1
how is his spoken Japanese anyway? fluent?
EDIT:
very clever - he actually commented on Rosie's "ching chong" incident.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1o7tDCSr70&mode=related&search=
in the video he said, "if i was going to imitate a Chinese person, this is what i would say..."
it may sound like gibberish, but i think he actually said something in Mandarin. i suck at Mandarin, but it sounded like he said, "i want to drink <something>, but i don't have <something>". somebody better at Mandarin please watch the video and tell us if he really said something intelligible.

Yes, he did speak correct mandarin. He said "I want to drink a cup of tea, but I don't have US dollars." He had a slight accent, but it wasn't too bad.
