Something happened today that shocked the shit out of me, and I can't find any useful resources on the internet.
Today, I sat down on the toilet, proceeded to take a dump, basically, and next thing you know the water in the toilet is blood red. First thing I'm thinking is maybe there's a chemcial in the toilet that causes the water to turn red when it's used, until I wipe my behind and the tissue is stained with blood. I start thinking "oh shit!"
I started wiping again, but no blood this time. A third time, once again, only minute specks of blood. Guess I got it all out the first time. I flushed the toilet and started thinking back to what I had done, sexually (it was my first thought). The last girl I had had sex with, I did not use a condom, and yes it was a one night stand. I did not know her.
BUT...................then again, I thought you couldn't get STDs unless sexual fluids were exchanged. In that case, they were not (she had an orgasm, I did not). Before that, i was fucking my girlfriend and we used the rubber most of the time. Only reason I didn't use it that night I had the one-nighter is because I didn't have any on me and I was too drunk to make the common-sense judgement of stopping by CVS or Wal-Mart to pick some up.
What I want to know is, what the fuck causes it. Everything I saw on the Internet talked about little kids getting it because of constipation, or old people getting it because of colon or rectal cancer. I don't know how old you have to be to get colon cancer but I will say this, I'm 19 years old, I have almost perfect blood pressure, good choloresterol levels, etc. Ini other words, I'm in good shape. I don't know how or why the hell this happened, but it scared the shit out of me. I really hope it's not an STD.
Serious responses only, please.

BTW, I felt no pain whatsoever. There was no itching, no irritation, nothing that felt any different from any other time I took a dump. So i don't know if it's hemhroids or whatever.

^ 2nd that.
It seems like it could be a variety of things (bleeding in the GI tract or hemorrhoids, etc.)

But what could it be if doesnt' cause pain?
Every thing I've read up on includes pain. There was a whole pool of blood, yet I felt no pain, no irritation. I'm confused.

It's good you are trying to find out more about this, but posting on forums is not the greatest way to diagnose medical issues.

Yeah but I can't get to a doctor right now. At the very earliest, I'll have to wait until tommorrow.
I have to drive home tonight and I'd like to think I don't have an STD or something while I'm going down the highway.

Hemhroids, E.Coli, isn't it possible that it could be something harmless? Shit.
I just took a piss. I expected that to be blood red too, but it wasn't. Maybe a good sign?

It could be something harmless, but you said that you had a whole lot of blood...

Get to a doctor, asap. I would even go to the emergency room. It might not be serious, but it could be life-threatening. Pain or no pain; blood in the stool is not normal.

You can still exchange fluids even if you don't orgasm. If you're worried that she may have given you something, then what difference does it make whether you orgasmed or not?

Go to a doctor, man. That's all. There are "medical experts" on here, but you know how goofy they act. =P

Went to a doctor today. Told me that my "hard stools" ruptured a blood vessel. Or as my pops put it, "your hard shit done ripped you a new asshole."
So there you have it. Not an STD. Not E.Coli. Not hemrhoids. Just hard shit and a busted vein.

LOL. Well at least you don't have to worry anymore. Did he tell you what kind of foods caused it?

Glad it wasn't anything serious.
glad to hear dude...but i think you should consider getting tested for stds regularly, since you've been doing it without protection.

He said I should eat foods high in fiber. He also gave me a prescription guaranteed to "soften up those stools".

Ugh stool softerners suck. I had to take those damn things after a surgery because I couldn't shit for about a week. Worst week of my life.

Since no one's mentioned it... you can get an STD despite not having an orgasm... might wanna keep that in mind...

I'm no expert, but I remember hearing that if the blood is actually bright red it's a better sign because it means it's probably coming from a more superficial site (as opposed to a more deeply rooted area) and thus the chances of there being anything serious are somewhat smaller (e.g. hemorrhoids, ruptured vessels, or external bleeding due to dryness are not serious concerns). But I dunno.
Good luck with that and take care.
Edit: Nm just read your 2nd post. Good to hear it's nothing to worry about.
you don't need stool softners, just eat lots of oily junk food...like popeyes chicken..that shit will be vicious.

That's true. I remember a paramedic that showed me a picture of someone that was shot through the kidney and liver and the blood was almost black.
