There's no cure. You're doomed. It's just a question of what gets you first, the bad skin or the bad hair.
What about your breath? Do you have bad breath?
first of all: do you have sensitive skin? because there's a whole other line of products for sensitive skin.
do you have just an oily face? or is it a combination dry and oily?
i really liked using the original noxema and the sensitive skin noxema. after that you have to moisturize your skin with something that has benzoyl peroxide in it. if your skin starts getting dry, try using the lotion every other day and using a regular lotion that doesn't have benzoyl peroxide the other days. one lotion i really liked was clean and clear facial moisturizer. i didn't put it all over my face, just the problem areas. i liked it cuz it tingled on my face and smells good. for a regular lotion i recommend either oil of olay or this really expensive moisturizer that i use. if you have any other questions feel free to PM me.
I used to have pimples on my forehead and face when I was in my teens. They just went away as I got older. I forgot to mention that I also started to change my pillow case and face cloth more frequently. Wash face about 3 times daily or when it gets oily/sweaty. Wash hair about daily if needed. Keeping your hair short may help too..

iono... sometimes acne is just genetic.
but my favorite brand would be Biore, cuz it works pretty well, and it doesn't dry out my skin. Plus, it reduces the size of ur pores. If it's waaay out of control, how about Proactive? Never used it, but it's supposed to be good.
But, that'll only fix the pimples on ur face. The pimples in other areas? I seriously don't know. o_O.
Maybe changing your diet will help too, like eating more healthy.

no my breath is fine... but my face kind a mest up lately... my hair is pale, my face have red dots in some area damn !! :frown:
i've never used it because my acne was never out of control. but one of my cousins had really bad acne and she used proactive and it worked. only use it if you have REALLY REALLY bad acne.
you sound like you only have a minimal amount of acne. what you really don't want to do is irritate it anymore. try not to touch your face or pick at your pimples because your hands are dirty and full of oil, and that's what leads to infection and more redness. i know it's hard but try. see if any of the above tips work out. good luck! ^_^

There are some prescription acne treatments that work really well. My brother got me some Dalacin T 1% and I think something called Terasol I can't remember. They work remarkably well.
And you should avoid foods that you know give you acne. For example, peanuts always give me a breakout the following day so I avoid it as much as possible.

lol, me too. but i only do it in a place where my bangs will cover it. XP
One of my friends has used proactive, and she said it worked pretty well.
Apparently toothpaste is good for zapping zits. Use only the ones in the tube, and not the gel type. The tube kind has clay in it, which dries up oil. Put a little amount on your pimple at night, and the next morning, the zit will be gone! I've never tried it before, but I saw this on TV, so I'm not totally sure if it will work, but it's better than nothing.
Never pop a zit, unless it's a small pustule. Cysts and Nodules may cause permanent scarring, so those are best treated by doctors. But, popping any kind of zit will usually not make it better, causing more zits to form. It can also cause cystic acne.
Scrub your face lightly with facial scrubs, wash, cleanser, whatever it is you use. Do not scrub hard, since it will only force the dirt deeper into the the pores. Contrary to popular belief, moisture is actually necessary to keeping your face acne free. Dry skin will cause your skin to produce more oil, therefore producing more acne.
(sry my post is so long!) Don't ask me how I know this... I read skin care books too much. XD

just exfoliate.
hold up. what is a good exfoliator, not just for face but body? winter is coming and i always have horribly dry skin and no matter how much lotion i put on, it can never penetrate because of that stupid layer of dead skin. i have not liked anything that i have used in the past.

Few suggestions.
For liquid I prefer exfoliators that use sugar granules because they eventually dissolve leaving no residue on you or in the tub. I grabbed a couple in the mood for scrub exfoliators when they went 1/2 off at Bath & Body Works. It'll boil down to a personal preference. Obviously, I like the smell of theirs.
I also like the Japanese style scrub belts. You should be able to find one in an Asian grocery store. It's a length of scrubber with handles on each end. Flip it behind your back and saw back and forth.
Another mechanical scrubber I like is the type that you can drop a bar soap of choice in. I recently picked one up at The Container Store which is a chain. It looks like this.

For the body, I like the Korean exfoliators that look like a little bag. God, they take off so much skin. They're made of nylon and have a rough texture.
For facial exfoliating products, I use Origin's Get Down Deep Pore Clay cleanser (http://www.origins.com/templates/products/sp_nonshaded.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY5794&PRODUCT_ID=PROD238). It's really good for opening up pores. Like, so good it's a little gross afterwards. If you have sensitive skin, the minerals in this cleanser may irritate you.
I also use their Modern Friction (http://www.origins.com/templates/products/sp_nonshaded.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY5816&PRODUCT_ID=PROD7480) when I feel like brightening up my skin in addition to exfoliating. It also really minimizes the look of large pores.
When I've been really bad to my skin and it's feeling really dry and tight, I use a Korean peeling gel called Coreana Perfect Magic Gel (no link, but peeling gels and creams aren't too hard to find). You basically apply it, leave it for a bit, then rub and your skin kind of balls up under your fingertips. Don't let your boyfriend watch you.
For breakout prevention (and now wrinkle prevention, for I am aging), it's all about taking consistant good care of my skin. In addition to the above, I use a toner to balance my skin's PH and thoroughly remove impurities, a moisturizer with SPF and eye cream.
The single most important thing I use, though, is a facial serum. I started out with Origins Plantidote Mega-Mushroom Face Serum (http://www.origins.com/templates/products/sp_nonshaded.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY5815&PRODUCT_ID=PROD8852), with removes inflammation and does a bunch of other stuff. Works GREAT. Unfortunately, customs decided that they liked it too, and ganked it from me :( I now use Jurlique Herbal Recovery Gel (http://secure.jurlique.com.au/osau/product_detail.asp?category=5&subcategory=40&prod=2201) which is also pretty good. Removing the irritations and inflammations that cause your skin to stress out is key.
Oh, and take vitamins and eat healthy.

go see a facialist who specializes in problem skin.
it's really worth the investment.
and the pain factor that comes with the treatments
become bearable afterawhile.
most places gives you discounts when you buy sessions in bulk.
i've been seeing one once a week for several months now
and it's amazing, how my skin changed.

I'm thinking, if you have skin, hair and breath problems, it really could all boil down to a problem with your diet. Buying creams and gels isn't tackling the root of the problem.
Are you regular?

Oil of Olay Regenerist is a good line. I use this cleanser (http://www.olay.com/boutique/totaleffects/products/te1010), which is both anti-aging and anti-blemish. My skin is considered quite clear.
Yeah, you know that awkward age they said you'd grow out of? They never warned me about the one between zits and wrinkles. :frown:
