"They" are proposing a railway system to be built around the Asia and European continents.

The proposed railway lines criss-crossed nations across nations.
It looks very interesting but not sure how realistic is this proposal.
There are many nations that are impoverished and a lot of wildlife/herds around the region, what will happen to them ? There are still a lot of issues between North and South Korea and borders problem in the south east asia continent.

From what I know, the entire construction project will be run by the Koreans. Hyundai and Samsung own steel companies around the world and I am just suspicious of the intention.

And will all these countries agree to the railway's upkeep to an agreed standard, and provide security for it? Looking at the countries it would traverse, methinks service would be unreliable.

i think either a railroad or highway is being built right now across Southeast Asia from Singapore up to China.
