increase of terrorism (yes)
mounting casualties for U.S troops and Iraqi citizens (YES!)
soaring oil prices (yes)
destabilization of the region (YES)

^ Except that when you get mounting casualties for both U.S. and Iraqi citizens, the other three seem inevitable anyway.

actually, yeah, sort of.
he promised to only serve two terms, but he run for a third term (and would certainly win it had he not died) because he was worried bush would win his re-election, and all the war mongering.

Maybe you should make it explicit, because as far as I can see, your point is a politician made some broad observations, then went and died prematurely.
