Paypal bad news these days?

Haven't paid attention to Paypal, but apparently they had to fork out millions in some lawsuit.

So, are they the bad guys now? Should I look for another competitive payment service?

well, wasn't there a big class action lawsuit where they had to pay every customer, like a buck or some trivial number? Paypal is okay on one condition, you do not, DO NOT upgrade to premium membership (unless you dont plan on using it to receive payment) as they then siphon fees out of every payment paid to you. I can no longer go back to basic cuz these bitches only allow one change back (stupid fucks upgraded me after I accidentally (and even to this day I swear I don't even think I touched it) accepted a credit card payment from a ebayer (you can only do that through premium))) and those fucks wouldn't change it back.

yeah, they have shitty customer service and provide no protection against scammers. if you pay out and something goes wrong, they won't do shit to help resolve it. you're just out of luck. I know that a lot of companies get away with doing so little for their customers, but paypal is one of the worst.
