I didn't know this but Farhenheit 9/11 was original supposed to be released by Gibson's company.

Seems fairly awesome. Still, the aim of the movie seem to be in direct conflict. On one hand, it's reveling in foreign and exotic settings, and on the otherhand, the crux of the story seems based around humanizing one man and his family. I hope this won't turn into a "Pre-Western Idealist revolts against his Savage Society" epic that has characterized previous movies in this genre.

At least it doesn't star a white guy.
