I'm an asian girl and it seems like every single asian girl I know have dated or have had crushes on white guys. Personally, I've never been attracted to any guy outside of the asian race. I've dated only asians. I'm not racist or anything, just not interested in them. It's just that when white guys approach me, I get this feeling that they have some kind of asian fetish and it just turns me off. So is there something wrong with me?

First of all I was just kidding around.

Secondly the Phillipines would be racially and culturally different from northern Asia even without Spanish and Catholic and even some Muslim influences in it's history.

Groups of pure, non-mestizo, non-catholic, native language speaking Pinoys in Japan, Korea or China would definitely stand out to the locals. For racial and cultural reasons.

And remember Japan did get a new population over thousands of years as the mainland northern Asians conquered and replaced the indigenous Ainu people.

Southern Chinese have mostly replaced the native people on Formosa/Taiwan as well.

Dalian is a really nice place to visit, and I personally think it's cleaner than Beijing and Szechuan, and cheaper and friendlier than Shanghai. (but that's just my Dalian pride kicking in) They have nice hotels, and Dalian has alot of great shopping spots (w00t for underground malls). Plus, there's a KFC or Mcdonalds on almost every block. sadly no Starbucks... or any other coffee shops

But if she isn't screwed, I suggest getting her one of those really cool mini ovens. The food isn't too bad. Or a Hot Pink Karaoke set. Or those Hello Kitty water dispensers they sell in Best Buy.
