Okay, this is a Dennis Quiad movie so it is going to be correct or accurate.

But the thing I found funny was that the nomads in the movie was speaking Canto. The question is: why? The movie is set in the middle of the bloody desert. :rolleyes:

So I'm asking, has anyone else spotted something stupid like this in any other movies?

this is a surprise to you, why? these discrepancies have been happening in movies and tv shows since forever. non-chinese people speaking canto? non-japanese people speaking japanese? do they think we don't notice our own languages being butchered? as long as it satisfies the westerners image of us, that's all that matters.

Don't give two rats how Hollywood portrays us, but I just find it funny that they can still get it sooooooo wrong.
