The British always like to play around with their colonies just before they become independent. India got screwed and gained a vengeful enemy on its border.

Thanks for the thread. No matter how horrific, remembering world political history is one of the best ways to make sure that it doesn't repeat.

haha, i'm glad things are improving for us though.
i wouldn't say that they're the ultimate best, but heaps better than in 1998.

in the movie "jinnah" you get a surplus of that violence relived on screen ;_; gulp. (the azadi {freedom} song by junoon shows excerpts of those scenes in the link above ^^ with the opening scene showing a train in which a massacre took place)
