I'm very pleased to announce that California Assemblymember Judy Chu (49th District) has taken the bold stand of calling on D.A. Gregory Totten to rescind the felony charge against Anna Guo.

Dr. Chu, who is also part of the State Assembly Speaker's Commission on Police Conduct, writes, "Under the circumstances conveyed to me, I am greatly concerned about the appropriateness of the charges filed against Ms. Guo and urge you to make an extensive effort in reviewing the evidence involved in this case. It is my sincere hope that the felony assault charges against Ms. Guo are reconsidered and appropriately rescinded."

I think Nancy Pelosi might be interested in this. Check it with her.

i just got a response from one of the mental health organizations i emailed about this case... they noticed that this campaign has Judy Chu's support... and they suggested that we can bring this issue to the attention of our State Representative.
