Quit acting like you can't resist the Wayans. I may have to go see Pirates again, because there's no way in hell I'm watching that Dupree movie either. I wish A Scanner Darkly was playing at more that two theatres.

100 million dollars says there's a breast-feeding joke in there
speaking of Lady in the Water, what the hell is up with the marketing on that movie? I swear when I saw the trailer the first time it said "a bedtime story by M. Night" and it was all tender and shit. Now it's all like
"HOW MANY OF THEM ARE YOU!?!?!?!?"
DUN DUN DUN DUN
"YOU ARE IN GREAT DANGER!!!!!!"

I'll probably go see this by default, if only to see how the FX transitioning holds up...I know the story will be stupid funny, so I'll just turn off my brain and enjoy being in some A/C for two hours...

Damn, I'm happy I'm not the only one who noticed the schizoid marketing tactics in that joint...I liked the first one cuz it kept it dark, minimal and mysterious..."a bedtime story for adults"...I liked that...now it's like, the studio's afraid it's gonna bomb, so they're pushing all the action element out into the foreground and made it a guy-saves-girl sorta thing, like The Island, to attract the lucrative young male demographic instead of the 30-40 somethings not so impressed by razzle-dazzle and wanting some story behind their fun.
