how many of your guys like neo-geo (a.k.a. SNK) games? When I was in
high school which was more than 10 years ago, I used to play titles such
as King of Fighters 95 and Samari Spirits everyday. It's a good thing that
I now have an SNK emulator and some of my favourite SNK games, so
that I can bring back some of the nice memories of HS ...

go grab the roms (if have you have the neo geo originals *cough cough*) and play on your comp. there are a few torrents out there.

use the neo rage emulator to emulate the roms, and play them. pretty damn good, and I love me some metal slug.

I'm also finding myself trying to play old ass arcade games using MAME. Remember that vector game, Star Wars. It still plays like a dream, and I dig the really bad sound bytes from the game itself.

As of the moment, I'm gonna see if I can possibly make an arcade cabinet and maybe make a kickass arcade machine. Nothing is more fun than playing the original x-men arcade game with all 6 characters. it'd be awesome.

Samurai Showdown, baby!

"...i got h*s chasin me like Ukyo..."

someone's gotta incorporate that line into some rap lyrics, if it hasn't been already.

^^ I know Ukyo is your avatar, he's actually my favorite and most used character, but I only know how to use him in the first and second editions of the game. They changed the game too much in the 3rd and 4th editions .... :(

Shock troopers was kick ass. I highly suggest anyone to play it, although I did play the dreamcast version first. Cross Swords is probably one of the more original games I've played on neo geo. Nightmare in the Dark is one of those unusual games in which you can play over and over again. Then again I love those obscure games.

But the Neo Geo is known for it's fighting games, so of course you gotta include Last Blade, King of Fighters, and Samurai Showdown. Of course, if you can locate it, try to play Rage of Dragons and Power Instinct Matrimelee (romfile lists as P.I.Martimelee).
