the load time on the second one might be tiny bit laggy... my computer is on its way out and wouldn't start photoshop, no matter how much I tried to.. so the imaged i used from Maya render isn't that well optimized.

wish me luck, final crit for those babies soon.

they can squeeze out through the junction between the cells that makes up the blood vessel. The animation is really designed for someone who alredy has some bio background...

I remember my dad bringing home lots of medical books with illustrations by Frank Netter. As a kid who was into drawing, I had an appreciation for them since I knew how hard it is to convey some of these things. I really appreciate what you've done in your animations. They're also kinda cute in a way. =) Good luck with your crits!

what does your dad do? i assume medicine/science related

Cute = good with my prof. If you make him laugh, you'll get a better grade...
no joke!. I think my crits went well, I better get an A or I'll throw a hiss fit.

He's an Internist. By the time I got to high school biology I had already heard about it all. Kind of odd to know how sex, pregnancy, and STDs worked at 8, and to think that was my birds and bees talk. Book learning sure is different from practice though.

Glad to hear you're confident about your crits. I took a few art classes in college and I'm sensitive about my work, so that didn't work out too well. Always gotta give a hand to those that have the guts (and I suppose talent helps too) to do it.

 with little help from my friend coffee

... my prof isn't much of help a lots of times, he's rather abscent minded.

one lab class he exclaimes "Hey, look guys, you can merge the verticies"
me and a classmate " um, yeah, we've been doing that for past few weeks...."

yeah, he gives us tutorials,...and somehow we learn and aren't as confused as he is, go figure. Labbies saved our lives so many times, they are in the Maya lab, maya wizes.

Flash, I've used the program for a while, so it's no biggy using it as a designer/artist. Next term, I get to do lots of scripting in flash...mmm developerish. it'll be fun I hope and more cool stuff.
