If you're in the Chicagoland area come by and check out the International Trade Emporium, new mini-mall by Chinatown at the corner of Archer and Wentworth. Lots of shops and live entertainment.
Come out and support Asian small businesses!
you can also support luv's and my store at the Emporium!!! hehehe Store # 461, Bouquet's Etc.

Hey, I'm from Chicago!
But I moved away... :frown:
The Chinatown there was awesome
Where in Chicago did you live?
Why'd you move away? We gotta beef up the Asian population in Chicago! J/k :D

ehhh family problems drove me out
But yeah I lived all over the place in Chicago
Originally from the South west side I think and then moved around from there
I then lived in chinatown for a while before moving away
Chinatown IS awesome here. When did you leave? Many more restaurants have opened up, yummy food. In last 2-4 years, even 2 sushi places opened up.
You're in Texas now(?) -- I think that's what I read in a different thread. How's it there?

cool! I'm from So. Cal. and I'm visiting Chicago for the 1st time in Jan... So tell me more about the Int'l Trade Emporium... What is it? I'm gonna have to ask my friend to take me to Chinatown so I can check it out.
It's basically an international shopping mall, but housed in a former storage rental place. It's fixed up pretty nice actually, well our store is hahah...we all just started and the business is slowly picking up and now that the holidays are here it should be much much better. Afterwards~~~~~ eh i dunno...how about you Jen??? any thoughts as to what will happen after xmas??
 dunno, but the shops are really cool! (Really cheap, too!) If you come to Chicago Chinatown, you gotta save a day just to go eating. So little Asians in Chi-town that all you can do is eat at the 50 restaurants here.
