Go in to one of the stores. One of the real stores, not one of those shacks or stands. You'll probably have to buy a new phone at regular price if you're not up for renewal time, but work it out in person. It may be in your best interest to cancel that line and get a new number in case someone else finds your phone and racks up a huge bill. Get out from under that responsibility.

In the future, you can call your phone company and have them suspend the account so that no further calls or charges can be racked up. Happened to me once, when i left my phone on the roof of my car.
