Hi, I'm not a big fans of mobiles, which may be a weird thing since I was and still am a techo. Anyway, I've recently bought a Motorola. It's the last Motorola I'll ever buy.

I've heard they were crap but didn't believe. I'm now a believer.

I've always being a Nokia man but I wanted to try something else.

The point is, I now need a new phone, which is the better brand?

Be interested to know your point of view.
My criterias:
1) Camera. With me a must.
2) Durability. I can drop a Nokia pretty much anywhere and the thing will still work.
3) Price vs Extra. I like to know what sort of extra features I can get out of the phone without having to spend a fortune on it.
4) Ease of use. Don't have time to stuff around with the phone too much.

I've excluded BBs, Smartphones and so on. The phone is a tool to me, not a toy.

I personally use the Palm Treo, which I absolutely love, but if you're talking strictly phones, then I'd go with the Nokia. I've always loved them, they make a great quality product and are durable and still look great.

Samsung for me.

Good reception, and a batter life of... longer than the period of time which I usally forget to charge things.

Crazy 10 megapixel camera by Samsung.

If only their software that comes with the phone didn't suck, it'd be fine.

I've always been a Nokia person myself since I prefer candy-bar style phones and their interface has always been the most user friendly. However, my current phone is an LG clamshell, just 'cause Verizon doesn't get the cool Nokias, which are all GSM-based.

I'd been avoiding the GSM providers since they never got reception at my old place, but now that I've moved, I may try out Cingular or T-Mobile for a year, once my contract is up later this year.

I thought I was rough with my phone.
Hmmm... I haven't thought of the Samsung meself.

I've been tempted by them. If not a Nokia then a Samsung it is.

I have to agree about Motorolas now, they do suck. The funny thing is that even their marketing sucks.
