Hmmm, well I would say:

Fine Again (Seether)
Bother (Stone Sour f/corey from Slip Knot)
A Long December (Counting Crows)
Mean to Me (Tonic)
Live a Lie (Default)
Lithium (Nirvana)
All Apologies (Nirvana)
Trouble (Alicia Keys)
Tommorrow (SR-71)
Ephiphany (Staind)

Practically the whole Dizzy Up the Girl album by the Goo Goo Dolls that came out a few years ago. Love that album, love the band.

Oh man, let me think about some more. There's a lot of them, especially with alternative rock.

Oh, Dizzy Up The Girl was GOOD. Got the album and love it.

Here's my list:
Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
Lifehouse - Quasimodo
Third Eye Blind - Graduate
Jessica Weiser - To be Seen
Coldplay - Trouble
Sixpence NTR - A Million Parachutes
John Mayer - Why Georgia
Tonic - You Wanted More
Offspring - The Kids Aren't Right
Badly Drawn Boy - Silent Sigh
Dishwalla - Every Little Thing
Foo Fighters - Learn To Fly
Greenday - Time of your Life
Guster - Fa Fa Song
Linkin Park - Crawling
Blink 182 - Adam's Song

I've got more, but this is what I could come up with.

That Foo Fighters song (Learn to Fly) and Linkin Park's Crawling are some more that would be on my list, thanks for bringing that up fireblade.

Also, I'd say:

Under the Bridge (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
Name (Goo Goo Dolls, that was from the first mainstream album, A Boy Named Goo, btw)
Drive, Pardon Me, and Nice To Know You all by Incubus
Bent (Matchbox 20)

I'm sure there's more, it seems hard to come up with all of them at one time.

oh, btw, I definitely agree w/you angel nypmpho about staind--i love all their songs, it's most certainly very deep and meaningful music.

Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
To love

They got little baby legs
And they stand so low
You got to pick 'em up
Just to say hello

hehe... yeah, i can relate to this too :P
