Happy Easter to everyone, man. Mom actually created a makeshift basket for me with some of those Cadbury Creme Eggs, a favorite since youth. Though I may have to hit the dentist afterwards.

me and my friends used to get together and paint eggs, and eat lots of candy. and in school, one of my classmate's mom made a cake shaped like a lamb, covered with coconut flakes. yummy.

No egg hunts or churching for me today...I gotta work...but I'll be celebrating a resurrection of my own over some shochu with my non-denominational, gentile nihonjin pals later on.

What IS the point of Easter eggs? I never got that one or understood what that had to do with Jesus.

You know, I always figured he was Middle Eastern (since duh, Israel is in the Middle East) but they don't have those online. It's either white Jesus or black Jesus. Speaking of which, that episode of the Boondocks about "white Jesus" was funny as I don't know what..................

It's a remnant of a pagan spring festival symbolizing fertility. Christianity adopted it to symbolize our new life in Christ.

Just like the other day I finally figured out when Easter occurs - the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox.

God loves white people. Reagan said so himself from white heaven.


That, and the Martin Luther King episode was about the funniest Boondocks episodes I've seen.
