YW Quirks.

I got this thread idea from another webforum. What bothers you about YW? I don't mean huge things. I mean little things that are just... you know, quirks.



Here are mine:
- Post-whoring
- Speaking of post-whoring... Intro posts. Do we really need a whole thread dedicated to everybody just saying "hi." ?? I see it as just a cheapy way to up your number of posts. Err..not that it's a contest or anything...
- Conversation posts. That's what PM's are for.
- The fact that you can't get past page 1 on the "Today's Active Topics" page.

i fall guilty of post- whoring in the introduction forum... actually, thats the forum i'm most active in... :lol:

Anyways, i just have one small YW quirk... its ppl with huge signature banners... but its no biggie tho.. i can still tolerate them :)

As for the active posts not getting pass page1, I don't think there are enough members to support that sort of thing. On other forums I use to post at, your post could slip into page2 in 1 minute because there were so many posters!

Another one:

Faceless posters. People who don't have pics of themselves or whatnot posted anywhere. Preferably, I'd like to see people in their avitars. I don't look at the names of the posters, I look at the avitars to figure out who's saying what.

quirk which annoys me: some buttons/icons on this site haven't got transparent background. leaving annoying gray or white squares around them which don't their surroundings.

I could be wrong... but I think clicking on "first unread message" just takes you to the last message on the last page... it doesn't take you to the first message you haven't read...

right...?

I just now noticed (don't call me SLOW!) that if you're not logged in, you can't see the "Sex & Relationships" forum.

I like that idea...just wanted to say.
