I know some good clubs, but not necessarily Asian ones. Though there is usually a good mix of people at them.
Off the top of my head, Gypsy (formerly Pravda), Roxy, Machine, Avalon, Axis, Vertigo are all generally decent, well-known clubs. Not stellar, but they have good crowds most of the time. The covers aren't too exhorbinant, and you can usually get on lists for free entrance prior to a certain hour. The MIT crowd seems to like Middlesex for some god-unknown reason. Middle East is fairly popular. Why? I have no idea. They were rude as hell to some friends of mine.

I heard Avalon was sketchy.
I like middle east cuz of their band selection.

I had a good time when I went. I think it was a gay night; in fact, I'm sure of it because they had a drag show. Or was that another club?
They do seem to have lots of interesting bands playing. Whenever I walk by there's a large crowd outside smoking and bsing.

i don't know of any that draw more asians than others, but to add to what others have said...
for music venues:
- the paradise in allston is great. and there's a lounge that features less well known bands, as well as a bar hang out area.
- the middle east in cambridge is great for smaller bands. it's very casual dress, really cheap, and total rock star atmosphere. there's always cool art being shown there, too.
- around the corner from there is a really small AWESOME bar called the rivergods. it's dark, has cool DJs spinning, small, and very gothic and artsy.
- avalon and axis on landsdowne are great for music venues... for CLUB nights... avalon is good if you want to get decked out and be seen with others who want to be seen. it's not my scene ;-) but if you're into that, it's cool because it usually features international DJs and all.
- the middlesex lounge in cambridge is good if you want to spend a lot of money. trendy crowd... good mix of people. not the most comfortable seating.
- TT the Bear's is great for small bands with no attitude from the crowd.
there's actually too many to list... so, check out the boston phoenix, or http://thephoenix.com/Listings/FeaturedByCity.aspx?city=Boston

Heh, you just gave me some new ideas for places to go. Echoing sunbeam, there's just too many to list. That's why I love Boston; has a cozier feel than NYC and tons of places to go.
It depends on whether you're after a straight or gay club for Asians. In terms of straight clubs, folks just go to any ol' club. It's not hard to find an Asian crowd in the big ones, but they happen to be groups or friends all coming from a particular university...so it's a bit hard to interact with them if you're the outsider. Tonic's a decent place if you want to see other Asian college students.
If you are looking for a gay club, then Buzz/Europa is your best bet. Even though it is a gay club, the upstairs dance floor is very mixed. Avalon is the other default location, but like Buzz, it's pretty mixed in terms of Asian folks.

For Under 21 I would suggest Boston Bowl (In Quincy) or Good Times (In Malden). You'll find the 16 year old wannabe thugs here shootin pool or bowling. I've only been to Good Times once and its not my cup of tea.
Any of the prior establishments mentioned are great if u want to listen to a band however you won't find many asians there (unless they're white-washed asians)
Avalon/Embassy/etc which are all on Lansdown street carter to the clubbing and under 21 crowd imo. Decent amount of Asians here.
Aria/Underbar/PekingTom is the 21+ crowd and is jammed packed with as many Asians as the eye can see. Asians in Boston are very cliche and it would be party hard to "get into the scene" without know a few popular people.
Tonic and WonderBar on Commonwealth in Brighton also have a good selection of college students of asian decent.
My favorite Bars are down in Fanual Hall (sp) like The Rack, Ned Devines, and even Sissy K's. They drawn in the college and the entry level professional crowd (21-28). Sissy K's has cheap drinks and usually a cover band. Ned Devines is the best with its huge dance floor, lounge, and comfortable bar. These bars are always packed during fridays and saterdays. Not many Asian here but I love the atmasphere and its only a few blocks away from the beautiful waterfront and the tasty north-end.
