Well...if I start driving now, it'll take about 40 hours drive time...I might be able to make it to Ventura by Thursday morning :)

I may go. But if I do, there's an 85% chance of me falling asleep. Hopefully there aren't too many exhibits. That's the real boring shit. Anyone else going?

I'll most likely be going, but I don't know if there's going to be a formal protest or not. They've literally gone back and forth about four times as to whether or not they were going to have a protest...as of 10pm this evening, they say they're putting signs together, but who knows...it'll probably be a game-time decision.

no way. what if they take my bedroom door, too? :P

j/k amy. i can't go either b/c i have to work. i'm sure ab and possibly arex will take good notes for us.

ALTHOUGH, we would like to have someone who can speak mandarin and english fluently there to watch the interpreter and take notes.

remember the chol soo lee case - korean american man sent to prison for murder b/c there was no interpreter at his trial. 20 years later, korean american investigative journalist k.w. lee decided to research his case and, lo and behold, discovered his innocence. another man had done it! he was finally released after k.w. lee wrote article after article about his case. his research on this outrageous case is open to students at the uc davis library.

k.w lee, now 74, has informed our webmaster (his former intern) that he is fully behind us in anna's case.

you should go and represent the yw legal team. you might be able to catch things the defense won't.

let's pray these signs employ proper grammatical english, and not fobglish.

Unfortunately, I think Fobglish is inevitable.

well, if someone can convince my parents, i'm in. if they said i was allowed to go, i'd be willing to ride the train there, or even a bus. that's how much I wanna go.

depending on who is going, i'm sure by the end of the night, we'll be able to find you a ride. it might require both parties to wake up extra early, but think about it this way- it's for anna's sake.

if it comes down to it, i'll e-mail/PM alex over and over and over until he finally agrees to go. if that doesn't work, i'll send him lots and lots of crap mail through the USPS. =)
