That Game ROCKS! My younger bro happily got it 3 days ago, and has been playing it nonstop. I love the RC Helicopter mission. That shows how much this game has improved over the last one. Good storyline too. AND THE MAIN CHARACTER TALKS NOW!! And they have the largest licensed soundtrack for a game, ever. At least I believe so. Fun Fun Fun.
Bought it for my friend's son for Christmas. He's 16 going on 25  I didn't get into the last one.

Is it as annoying as GTA3 where if you took a milli-step off the boat, you'd fall in water and die. And landing that annoying speedboat was almost enough to make me stop playing that game!
Although killing people endlessly was enough to sate my violent nature.

does anyone here know how to beat the vigilante missions easily without cheats? after i kill one criminal i usually get two stars and i don't have time to get rid of the stars before killing the next criminal and my car gets blown up too easily too. i'd love to get that 150 armor...

if vice city is similar at all to original gta3, you should have ample time to switch police cars and blow up the criminals car... i'm assuming the AI hasn't improved too much. sometimes it's just luck in how much time they give you

i never really played the gta3 much. but i've read the cops are much more tenacious this time. at 4 stars helicopters start firing at u and dropping SWAT members. they also lay out those tire shredding spikes on the road or shoot out your tires. its pretty hard driving with 4 popped wheels :P .
but i'll try what u said. thanks.

haha oh man, i watched my roommate do this too.
here's how he did it. wait until you can grab the change of clothes so you can be a police officer. once you've changed clothes, walk onto the army base and hijack the apache. it's got unlimited rockets and machine gun. you can activate the vigilante missions from there, since it's a military vehicle. happy hunting!
