I mean you can go to a nissan dealer and get one. No import fees.

probably infiniti dealer u mean, nissan dealerships arent prized for selling high end cars, the Z being the best example u'll probs see a V35 GTR model but w/ a different normally aspirated engine, not the VQ30DDt thats rumored to use.
also motorex import fee isnt that much especially if u know them...look for my other tread... ya motorex guyz are kew they helped w/ my car and if u understand why they have to charge that much u get it.

*cough* Infinti G35 = Skyline *cough*
Of course there are some differences in the engine, but for real, they are 99% the same car. Now if only they made a more affordable version for the masses.

I think the G35 is a pile compared to the R34 Skyline GTR in Japan.

Skyline GT sedan/ GTS-t coupe engine choice were all are RWD only.
1. RB20DET 240ps - single turbo 2.0 liter inline 6 engine
2. RB25DET 250-276PS - single turbo 2.5 liter engine
3. RB25DE 200ps - n/a 2.5 inline 6

That's true, but the title said Skyline, not a specific type of Skyline. G35 is more like the Skyline 300GT than anything else. Not a bad car, but yeah, not top of the line.

actually the usa G35 is closest to the Skyline GT8 350 its pretty much the same engine and the only running changes are the orange signals (japanese required) and the front grill. Tranny on the GT8 350 is totally different its a CVT with 8 pre set ratios for performance. the gear shift was designed by nissan based upon imput from polyphonys gran turismo lead producer.
