The existence of people like Best Chinese, and their attitudes, make me almost embarassed to call myself Chinese. BC is a disgrace both to the country of China, as well as to people whose families originally came from there. I believe the appropriate thing would be for him to write a self-criticism, humble himself before the working people, and acknowledge what an ass he has made of himself.

As a chinese person myself, I find it laughable that someone like a name with Best Chinese would speak so proudly, yet does not retain any language capabilities, and does NOTHING but complain and complain and complain. China in itself as a nation is humble, not bosterious like it's politicians, and if you continue to boast proudly like you're the superior, then likely you've just picked up more traits of that of a loud-mouthed, unintelligble, unrationale, annoying American. Spouting off left and right like you're better than anyone else, and that everyone else is a threat sounds a lot like the religious right wing of the Republican party. So I guess Best Chinese is actually more of an American and a Whitey than he really thinks he is.

Actually the sterotype is that of one that other countries view Americans are. And to tell you the truth, I wouldn't blame them. I've overheard MANY conversations in downtown San Francisco, in which some asshole went abroad and was disgusted that no one there spoke english. And to my foreign friends, they mostly all have had an experience (if they come from a big city) in which an American basically shouted at everyone and could not communicate in the foreign language.

As such, the sterotype was just used as an example. The identity of ignorance is obvious in BestChinese, and I was using it as an analogy of a representation of what he subscribes himself not to be a member of. Everyone here can agree Americans can be this or that... but unless world view changes, we Americans are viewed this way overseas. The mostly widely accepted notion in this country is that America is the best country and every other country is a precieved threat resonates throughout the land. If not, go ask your neighborhood hick, and 9 times out of 10, that would be the response you would get. If I perpetuate sterotypes, so be it.
