Anyone have experience w/ GTR sized cores. Im looking at one for my 240sx once i have more money (i have an s14 sr20det).

i been lookin at :

Apex-i Silvia core kit. Blitz LM kit for silvia, Greddy SPL 3 row.

ne thoughts right now i use stock Side mount for sleep look.

Hells no dude, Stock SR boost is .6 bar/ 8.XX psi off a T3/ T28 hybrid.

Lol i probs am gonna get the greddy or blitz since i get a mad ass price on those 2 parts. the blitz especially. Blitz LM power.

Spearco air/water set up would be ideal for a motor like urs not mine. especially if i wanna up the boost.

liquid to air is ideal for small areas, and areas where there is restricted air flow. However, remember that a FMIC will block air flow to your A/C condensor. hence, your A/C will start blowing out heat when you're on boost cuz the I/C will hog all the cool air!!!!

lol Karizma yeh dream car is a pain in the butt to own.

1st off its a wiring nightmare. Getting AC to run on an S14 is pretty much a try and see if this works, we jacked everything from the stock motor and the SR and the AC wiring and plumbing is gonna be 100% custom.

2nd off Sr20det is fun, cept buying used motors can be a gamble. man...i was so scared my motor would be toast. like the bottom end or what not but so far its clean.

3rd it'll be faster then sy's old mr2 which he scares me w/ his fuel consumption and paint =)

4th go buy one its a fun project minus the hassles and its not to expensive to duplicate. get one S14 240sx about 5500 for a stick base/se 95-96, buy one S13 clip (easier to get and cheaper) for bout 2800 for a 94-98 blacktop, buy a front mount intercooler, and be prepared to spend bout 1500 for labor and there u go S14 w/ Sr20det. or u can be a punk like me and buy an s14 sr20det clip for like around 4k.

Btw Sy the front mount is 2-row 700$ for a blitz LM for me and about 800ish$ for a Greddy 3-row SPL GTR core. Both FMIC are huge but the Blitz i can use stock front bumper w/ until i get my Navan (oem nissan optional) bumper. The Greddy SPL requires me to have a new bumper b4 i stick it on. And if u know anyone needing spare SR20det parts i have an S13/14 Tilton AM replacement clutch from my clip bout 20% worn, and a slightly dented HKS downpipe. I replace both on my clip w/ an ACT street disk and Blitz Stainless Downpipe. i might needa sell my BOV later too...i have a SARD gen.1 BOV, its kinda weak for high boost.

Tre:try me biatch once i put in the front mount intercooler and crank the boost from 8psi to 14psi and get my power FC (dyno tuned) and 550cc injectors! also high rev kit time biatch tomie head gasket, tomei valve spring, tomei rocker arm stopper kit.

ur old tech mr.2 will see the power of FR! plus i'll get better gas mileage then u! i'll take u in all gears at 8000rpm!
