It's uh... kind of old. That's prolly why the lack of posts. I love the guys who go to game centers and think they're so hot doing it. Cracks me up.
Good exercise though. Anyone own the pad?

the game isn't that old is it? the novelty may have worn out, but it's still a challenge. i realized that i couldn't pass the 6 feet level on the 5th mix, so I kinda gave up. the drum game is fun too.

Hahaha.... I guess I'm the only one here interested in DDR still. In any case, I think the novelty of DDR has died out. I remember when it was such a HUGE thing here in the states. For some reason, my interest in DDR has perked, because DDR Max is out, and my bro just got it not too long ago. (My bro is the gamer of the house. I'm just Mr. RPG) We have a pad that's been unused for the last 2 years, but hey, it comes out again.
I gotta admit, it's a great work-out. As of right now, my bro is getting pissed with the old mat, and now I understand why we didn't use it that often. Damn thing slips, and the bottom arrow doesn't function that well.
Which is why we're probably gonna make a metal pad. Check out the link below:

You could always buy one, but heck, I'd be more happier with this. Drummania and Guitar freaks is gaining some recognition in the states. Although since I play guitar, the arcade game gives NO relatively real experience of knowing how to play the instrument. The drum game however, is more akin to the real thing. Just cuz there are electric drum pads in the same setup as the arcade game. But eh, that's just me.

I still think it's fun... I never played it that much when it 'was all the rage'... so maybe I never got burnt out on the idea of that game.
 Definitely good exercise  ... and yeah I'm w/ Fireblade... I hate the mushy slippery pad....

I lost my rhythm along with "being regular." Fiber can help me be regular, but not regain my rhythm. Only dancing I'd end up doing is straight to the bathroom. ;)

It's only fun at the arcades. And most of the songs are Asian people attempting English/Spanish/whatever. Yeesh

To this day, I still don't understand why many people jizz in their pants over this game. Looks like a bunch of MC Hammers on crack.

Well, I play Pump It Up. Personally, I look like I'm actually dancing when I play 'cause I freestyle and do break moves when I play. So, lots of people think I look really good when I play. Sometimes people pay to see me play again. :)

It happens. You should check out some Korean Pump It Up videos. It's way better than anything I've seen on DDR... it's pretty amazing actually what some of these guys can do. Nobody has reached that level in America because it's been out in Korea so much longer.
